NFL Football Revealed on Squib Kick

Albert Haynesworth finally apologizes to Andre Gurode

by James on October 6th, 2006

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.

Andre Gurode happy after apology

The Incredible Melting ManWell, it took a whole day of phoning, but finally Albert Haynesworth got through to apologize to Andre Gurode. Don’t you wonder how that conversation went? “Hey, Andre, brother, so sorry about stomping on your face with my cleats”

What does he say back? “No problem, happens all the time?” “Uhh, whatever Albert, all in good fun?”

Maybe it was more like “Why? Why did you do it? Did you forget about those cleats? What was going on in your head?”

Five game suspension? Please tell me there is some psychological counseling involved. There probably isn’t. Remember Ron Artest of the Indiana Pacers brawling with Detroit Piston fans in the Palace of Auburn Hills? He was suspended for the rest of the season. In a live TV interview the next year, he said there was no mandatory counseling and he decided not to get any on his own. Even though there was a history of violence.

Hey, Andre, How ya feelin?

Albert HaynesworthAlbert Haynesworth also has a history of violence and yet the Tennessee Titans are trying to see if he can still practice with the team. Can you believe it?

In the last three hours it was reported the Coach Jeff Fisher has stated the Haynesworth will not be back with the team ever. Hmm, 190,000 semolians, 5 games, part of his bonus (forgot to tell you about that), what more can Haynesworth lose? His dignity? Nope, already gone.

Of course, Albert is a good player and if he reports back in great shape to play…well, it is up to the owner, Bud Adams.

NFL Football Fan Question Just what did Gurode say?
