Brett Favre only needs one play!
Brett Favre is amazing.
One play is all it took. For those of you that could not stay up to see the Packers beat Denver in overtime 19 - 13, you can watch OT quickly on Sportscenter. It only took on Brett Favre bomb!
Brett reared back and threw the ball 82 yards to Greg Jennings, from Western Michigan in the MAC, for the game winning touchdown keeping the Green Bay dream season alive!
Greg was covered by Dre’ Bly, formerly of my Lions. Dre’ is an excellent cover corner. Brett beat him for 82 yards of victory.
The pass deflated the crowd that had watched Jay Cutler drive the Broncos down to the 1 to tie the game with a field goal by Jason Elam as the clock ran out in regular time.
Some people were also saying Favre didn’t have any more of those kinds of passes left in his arm.
Even Favre has suggested he’s losing some zip.
“Brett will say, ‘I don’t know if I have anything left in the tank,’ and we’re thinking, ‘What is this guy talking about?’ He’s 70 years old and overthrowing us in practice — a lot,” Jennings said.

Earlier Brett threw another bomb to James Jones and beat perhaps the best cover corner in Champ Bailey.
Brett at 38 years of age is simply amazing.
At one point Brett threw 12 straight completions in the second half.
Young Jay Cutler looked promising in this game, too. The man was throwing rockets! Some of his completions looked incredible as he reared back and threw a frozen rope more than once. This guy has a great future.
But the night belongs to Brett!
NFL Football Brett Favre factoid Brett now has 36 game winning drives in the 4th quarter in his career. Are you kidding me?
The Packers are now 6 - 1 and face KC next week. If Brett can beat KC, then he will have beaten every team in the league. This past weekend Peyton Manning and Tom Brady both accomplished that feat.
The Broncos are off to play my Lions. The Lions are only 1 game behind Green Bay in the standing.
