NFL Football Revealed on Squib Kick

Colts beat Pats and Tony gets paid

by James on October 31st, 2007

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.

Tony Romo with Carrie Underwood - Geez, first all the women, then all the money!

Tony RomoIt is a day for number freaks.

You know who you are.

In fact, your intrepid author is one of them.

So, bring up that calculator in your head and let’s get going.

First, we look at WhatIfSports, as they take a shot at predicting the winner of the New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts game.

What If has the Colts winning 30 - 27, because the game is in the dome.

Before we continue with WhatIfSports, the Squibster will predict the game is on CBS. :)

Let my good friend Rockwell, read that prediction. (Oh, and more faith in my Lions would be helpful, Rock)

WhatIf keeps going by actually showing you the full game stats for the game. Hey, why even watch it?

Did you know they have Adam Venatari, Venutauri, Vinatieri kicking a 56 yard field goal?

More amazing is your gallivanting author spelling Vinatieri correctly.

Tom Brady throws for over 400 yards with Randy Moss getting 8 of those for 1 touchdown.

Peyton Manning has 352 yards and, of course, his favorite sneaky receiver Dallas Clark catches one of them for a touchdown.

My main man Joseph Addai misses 100 yards by one yard. (Rip off)

Finally Adam Vina-whatever kicks the game winning field goal in OT. Whew! That was a long game.

Back in the real world, the Squibster is taking the Colts on Sunday with the Pats getting revenge in the playoffs.

Tony Romo

Meanwhile, in bigger number news, Tony Romo rakes in 67.5 million bucks at a rate of 11.5 million a year. Wow!

EMQB.com was a little skeptical about this.

That works out to about 11.5 per botched winning field goal snap per year. Oh, you had to bring that one up?!?

Hey, someone is texting me, it is Terrell Owens, he says, “Tony is good. u bttr blve it.”

Help me out, Squibkick readers, what does ‘butter blue-v’ mean?

NFL Football Tony Romo factoid Tony’s grandfather expounds on the opportunities in America for immigrants citing Tony as an example of where an education can take you. (Squibster note: that and an arm that can throw a football 75 yards!)

Really, you have to admit it, Tony has come a long ways, but who is Romo? Is he the guy that could not beat out Drew Bledsoe, until Drew just absolutely failed? (Tough to do behind Dallas’ offensive line)

Or is he the Mr. Everything that Romo has been most of this year?

Squibster places him somewhere in between, but there are just not a lot of great quarterbacks around and you have to pay to keep the really good ones and Tony is a really good one.

Whoa, so many numbers my head is hurting.

NFL Football Fan Question Does the dome give the home team more advantage?

Tony Romo–first Carrie, then Sophia, now . . . Britney Spears?

As for Pats-Colts, my heart nearly stopped when you called the Colts for Sunday. But then you said the magic words “revenge” and “playoffs,” and all was right with world again.
