The Big Tuna, Bill Parcells, was thinking retirement or at least being done with the Cowboys. With Drew Bledsoe as the quarterback, the offense was just not crisp. Coach Parcells took the leap and put in Tony Romo as his quarterback. The whole team seemed to get a lift.
Dallas needs this last game against the pathetic Lions. If they lose, Jeff Garcia and the Eagles win the division. Dallas would be reduced to a wild card and get a worse draw in the playoffs.
So why is the score 13 - 0 Detroit on a great catch by Roy Williams?
Wait a minute. Marion Barber the third just went over right guard for a touchdown. He trails only LaDainian Tomlinson in touchdowns by about a zillion.
Maybe Dallas does want to win?
Anyone notice that Detroit ran about 90% running plays when they got close to the goal line? This by a team that led the league in fewest rushes. This by team that is starting their 5th string tailback?
Think Detroit wants to lose and wrap up that first draft pick?
