Fantasy Football - Draft Day
NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Wow! That’s right, wow! Fantasy Football is huge. It seems that everywhere you turn there are football player rankings just for your draft day.
When your intrepid writer was but a child, it was the in thing to follow the whole league. Maybe because my pathetic Lions were just that, pathetic. Maybe because there was not so much TV, so you had to watch a lot of teams just because they were on the tube, the only ones on the tube.
As yours-truly aged (gracefully one hopes), it became more time prudent to follow one team, as seemingly every game was on cable. My team was, of course, the Lions.
But now we have Fantasy Football. Following the whole league is back in vogue. It is fun again. Maybe the Lions lose, but number 18 on my fantasy team, Peyton Manning, throws for 3 touchdowns. Way cool!
Draft day is coming. Are you ready? In Confessions Of A Fantasy Football Expert Lenny Pappano
Championships are won by those who suck the least at making projections. It might not sound as inspiring as Draft Sharks’ tag line, “Championships are won on draft day!,” but it is nonetheless true. Source
