How about you just learn to play better?
The state of Connecticut has decided that from this year on, high school coaches who have their teams run up the score (winning by over 50 points) will be suspended.
Brilliant.
Here’s a revolutionary thought: If you don’t like getting your butts kicked, how about playing better instead of whining?
Better yet, how about instead of worying so hard about the kids’ rediculously fragile self-esteem, how about you just run a continuous clock? Who cares if the backups don’t play much. Maybe they should work harder and get a starting job.
This is mind-blowing stuff, I know, but try to keep up.

As a Redskins fan who suffered through the Steve Spurrier experience, what comes around goes around with these cases.
I think it’d be more embarrassing to have a team march down the field on you then have to kneel on the 2 yard line every down, then just have the team be able to punch it in.

You’re right. I’d much rather have the other team score 70 on us than know that they were playing as poorly as the possibly could, while still defeating us.
