I get these job postings sporadically in my email and thought I would pass this along. Actually, it seems like something right up my alley but I’m going to pass:

Manager, New Media - Cleveland Browns (Cleveland, OH)

Dept: New Media Title: Manager, New Media

JOB DESCRIPTION: The team is seeking a manager in their new media department The hired candidate will be primarily responsible for: A) overseeing prompt placement of all content on our website as designated by the Director, New Media; B) implementing website design directives and revisions; C) contributing ideas for site design along with assisting in the development of premium web areas; D) maintaining regular contact with web-hosting company to ensure site is up and running 24/7. Other key responsibilities include working cohesively with other departments i.e. marketing/sales, public relations, community relations, etc. on website content. The seleted candidate will work closely with the team art director as well as in-house photographer. The selected individual will be responsible for all other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES: The ideal candidate MUST be detail-oriented and should have a minimum of three (3) years of professional background in Internet and web design; working knowledge of video production and graphic design is a plus! He/she MUST be a solid team player and possess strong skills in the following areas: Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Express, MS Office, Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML, and Avid.

He/she MUST have the ability to receive directions and requests from multiple sources and effectively prioritize; work well under pressure with tight timelines; liaise professionally with high-profile clientele and officials. The selected candidate MUST exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
