Jon Kitna, Detroit Lions, is chasing records
NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Now the truth can be told. From the center of the Earth comes a power. It is a strange and twisted power that gives one man the ability to conquer over all odds. He becomes the source of energy from the center of the Earth. This man is Jon Kitna!
If you remove Jon’s jersey, you will see a t-shirt with a small emblem that says my power is from the core. Either that or it say Mike Martz must be a genius, because he has made so many so so quarterbacks look good it ain’t funny.
Jon has the chance to break records set by, ee-gads, Scott Mitchell. Yes, the sidearming Scott Mitchell had 4,322 yards in 1995. Kitna is on pace to break that record.
Oh, there are doubters out there. Men of little conscience that fail to see the wild schemes that like the Black Pearl are nye unstoppable. (a little Johnny Depp, Pirates of the Caribbean, rent it, most excellent, Squibster has spoken)
Ahh, but just like when that unmovable object called Scott Mitchell terrorized the NFL Football league, the magic of offense has returned to Detroit and it is in the capable hands of Jon Kitna. (Squibster full disclosure - Jon Kitna is a recent pickup on my Fantasy team, yes, sadly even the Squib did not see the full potential of the Martz offensive)
Jon Kitna Songs?
So go tell it on the mountain, whisper it to deep throat, remember it for tall tales later on, Jon Kitna and the Detroit Lions have put together an offense to behold. Yes, my grateful readers, there will be songs written about the Detroit Lions and Jon Kitna.
Now if only my grandma wasn’t starting at cornerback.
NFL Football Fan Question Can Jon Kitna master the intricacies of the Martz Offense and keep it going?
