Forgive me, my very forgiving readers, but too many losing seasons as a Detroit Lions fans, with too many crummy quarterbacks, tends to leave you a wee bit skeptical. Mike Martz is comparing Jon Kitna to Kurt Warner and Marc Bulger?!?
Yours truly feels that the always kind of good Kitna will not suddenly become the human highlight film. In fact, your intrepid writer thinks that unless someone beats out Kitna at quarterback the Lions will be nothing more than average.
NFL Football Jon Kitna factoid Jon was the MVP of NFL Europe for the Barcelona Dragons in 1998. He led them to the World Bowl Championship V over the Rhein Fire 38-24.
Here is hoping that this writer has no clue and Kitna is league MVP.
