Jon Kitna will be another bad decision

The Lions, the freaking Lions, they are enough to drive even the most saintly person in the world stark raving mad.
Gandhi once blew up and hit someone, because of some bonehead thing the Lions did.
Now they are at it again.
The Lions have named Kitna the starter for the remaining two games and said he will be the starter next year.
We wait the announcement that Jon is the starter for the rest of his remaining life.
How can one sports franchise just be so consistently stupid all the time?
Of if Kitna has earned the No. 1 job coming back next year: “Absolutely. I think Jon’s a terrific player. With some of the things he’s been saddled with and what he’s done, with some of the protection issues, he’s been beat up a lot, he’s made some tremendous throws. No, I think he’s a real good player. We’ve got to get better around him. We just do, and we will. But he’s a real good quarterback. I’m very pleased with him.” source
It is not that having Jon at quarterback is such a big deal if this was just an isolated incident, but this is not an isolated incident. This is more like stupid decision 5,000 of this year.
Damien Woody
And how about the other brilliant decision of Damien Woody at right tackle, where he unexcelled in the last couple games. He should be great after washing out at his last position on the line.
Dumb and Dumber
The losing and dumb decisions of the Lions just never seem to end. How can Matt Millen still be the GM when almost everything he has done has made the worse?
How can Mike Martz be so highly thought of when the team fails to control the clock, because Martz refuses to let Kevin Jones run the ball?
Can Coach Rod Marinelli survive these idiots? Owner Bill Ford just wants an entertaining offense and then he can market his trucks on TV and fill the stadium with fans that deserve so much more.
Wide receiver Roy Williams is injured and most likely will leave the team when his contract is up. No one wants to play for such an inept organization forever. Kevin Jones will probably eventually leave too.
There is no end in sight, Lions fans, so to say “get used to it” is a waste of breath, because you are already used to it.
Pass me the Tylenol.
