Josh Booty is the Raiders ill gotten booty

When the stripe shirt guy stiff arms you, it is not good news.
Once in a while a team comes along that just seems to muck things up more than my Lions.
That is not easy.
To pull this off, we often have to look to other professional sports. Mike Tyson and the ear biting. San Diego a while back in the NBA. The Tigers, a few years ago, going for the losing record. The Cubs.
Chicago Cubs side note: On the west side… of Michigan can be found a curious species. They call themselves Lion’s fans and Cub’s fans at the same time. They are a strange bunch that seem to revel in their losing fandom ways.
Anyway, forget all that, because we have the Oakland Hairbraiders err Raiders. In a grand move of ultimate significance Oakland signed Josh Booty.
Let’s see now, David Carr is probably available.
And what an expensive pair of shoes it has been. A quick accounting indicates that, beyond the time invested in attempting to elevate Carr to franchise quarterback status, the Texans have also paid him slightly more than $35 million. That’s more than $7 million per season for an average of 4.4 victories in that stretch, or roughly $1.6 million per win. source
If you are looking for more than Carr, there is Drew Bledsoe, maybe Trent Green, or maybe Aaron Rodgers in a trade to the Packers. (Wake up Oakland, the Pack wants that cancer called Moss!)
So what does this deal for Booty tell us?
It tells me that they had better be drafting JaMarcus Russell like they say they are or Josh Booty is possibly your quarterback?!?
So what do we know about Josh?
In two seasons at LSU, Booty threw for 3,951 yards and 24 touchdowns and was taken by Seattle in the sixth round of the 2001 draft. Acquired off waivers by Cleveland later that year, Booty spent parts of three seasons with the Browns. source

Guess we can’t get too upset over this signing. After all, the Raiders have so many holes on offense that no one knows where to start rebuilding.
The crazy thing is that they had a great defense last year. You can look it up!

So if this guy was a team’s second string qb does that mean whenever they were behind and the coach had to bring him in the game he was making a “booty call”?
