Kyle Orton is in and Rex Grossman is out
NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
The confident look on Kyle Orton’s face tells it all
It is official. The announcement has been made. Kyle Orton will be the Chicago Bears starting quarterback for the NFL regular season.
Kyle Orton will be named the starter for the regular season, the Bears announced. Lovie Smith confirmed the decision after practice.
Orton had a solid training camp and performed well in the team’s first exhibition, while Rex Grossman struggled as the starter in Saturday’s exhibition loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
That is all good and fine, because Rex never failed to disappoint and even with that failed to improve like many of us thought he would, but…Kyle Orton?
It would seem the Chicago Bears still have a quarterback problem.
