2003 - New England Patriots go 14 - 2, the best record in the NFL, the following year they win the Super Bowl.
2004 - Pittsburgh Steelers go 15 - 1, the best record in the NFL, the following year they win the Super Bowl.
2005 - Indianapolis Colts go 14 - 2, the best record in the NFL, the following year they win the Super Bowl.
2006 - San Diego Chargers go 14 - 2, the best record in the NFL, the following year???
Are the Chargers going to follow suit and win the Super Bowl?
Will LaDainian Tomlinson lead them to the Super Bowl?
San Diego may very well boast the NFL’s best offensive player (Tomlinson, who ran for 1,815 yards and an NFL-record 28 touchdowns in 2006) and best defensive player (Linebacker Shawne Merriman, who racked up 17 sacks last year) on the same roster. That’s an absurd advantage to have.

The Chargers have more than LT. Their lineup is filled with All Pros and near All Pros.
Just think if your team had Antonio Gates or Shawn Merriman.

Oh, there are still questions to be answered.
For instance, will the Chargers’ weaknesses at wide receiver and defensive back catch up with them? Also, can young quarterback Philip Rivers continue his development? And most pressing of all, will the team’s offseason coaching change prove to be a detriment?
The questions are not small when you are talking both coach and quarterback. Still this was an amazingly dominant team in 2006.
The Chargers lost two games by a total of six points, both on the road, while fielding the top scoring offense in the league (30.8 points per game).
Yes, the Chargers have all the goods to become the champs in the next Super Bowl!

That is exactly what I have been telling people. Most of this isnt news but great for people that are fans but haven’t been keeping up with what has been going on. I will send this to people.
