Has there ever been a season like LaDainian Tomlinson had this year?
The Chargers started the year with an untested quarterback and a lot of questions. LT had an unbelievable season to answer all of those questions with an exclamation point.
Trust me on this one, if you had Tomlinson in your Fantasy Football League and you don’t get him next year, you will be sorely disappointed. Real football seasons do not involve scoring 31 touchdowns by one player.
His stats are mind boggling.
28 rushing touchdowns (NFL record)
3 receiving touchdowns
2 passing touchdowns (he now has 6 in his career to tie for 2nd for non-quarterbacks)
1815 yards rushing (led the league)
508 yards receiving
Top it off, his… team, the San Diego Chargers won their last 10 games in a row.

Chad Pennington comes back strong
The New York Jets benefited from the comeback of Chad Pennington from rotator cuff surgery. The league voted Chad the Comeback Player of the Year.
The Jets managed to win their last 3 games to go 10 - 6 and make the playoffs.
Watching Chad play my Lions or should one say, play with my Lions, it was easy to see that he not only had his accuracy back, but also a little bit of zip on the ball. That is something that he is really not known for.
With an easy schedule and Laveranues Coles and Jerricho Cotchery both over a 1,000 yards, and a bevy of runners, the Jets managed to make the playoffs as a wildcard.
