NFL Football Revealed on Squib Kick

Larry Johnson is unleashed on the Fantasy Football world

by James on October 30th, 2006

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.

Larry the Steamroller

Larry JohnsonTry this out for a stat line 39 Rush, 155 yds 3 TDs and 2 Rec, 26 yds, 1 TD. You will notice that is a total of 4 tds. When you add in the yardage you get 32 Fantasy points. Unbelievable. (Squibster full disclosure - Larry is on my Fantasy Football team)
The final score was KC 35 Seattle 22. This score would have been a surprise if not for the fact that Senneca Wallace had to play QB for Seattle. It was backup vs. backup with Damon Huard playing QB for KC.

It was the battle at the OK corral… as AFC West took on NFC West. KC is fighting for their lives in the AFC West Division at 4 - 3. Seattle is duking it out with St. Louis in the NFC West.

Larry Johnson, fantasy player supreme, has over 600 yards and 9 TDs on the season.

If you think that is impressive, keep in mind that he is doing this with the starting quarterback, Trent Green, out with a concussion.

And if you think that is impressive, well, he had 1750 yards and 20 TDs last year!

Larry runs with power and burst. He tends to keep running North South with great leg strength. Believe me, he carved up my beloved, yet struggling Spartans more than once while playing for mighty Penn State. It often seemed like a cartoon with Larry dragging 2 or 3 players for an extra 5 yards. The topper is that Larry has great hands. He can catch a ball and knows what to do with it.

NFL Football Fan Question Are you lucky enough to have Larry on your Fantasy Football team? Can Larry power the Chiefs past San Diego and Denver?

As always, any NFL Football related comments are welcome.
