Money down the manhole
I leave the house for an hour and what do I find when I come back?
The news that the Ravens kept Lewis came only a few hours after Aaron sent me the article about the Ravens signing Mike Anderson.
Oh, and if you’re wondering about Chester Taylor, he was set free and signed by the Vikings.
Personally, I think this is probably the worst set of moves any teams has done in a long time. I put it up there with the Browns drafting Couch and Brown.
I mean really, Mike Anderson had a nice year, but so does everyone else in Denver. And he’s 32 years old. Jamal Lewis is getting old, and he’s coming off a horrible year, and he was in prison not so very long ago. This stinks to me like a team starting to get desperate to be good, and not taking their time drafting and signing quality younger players. A great move would have been to ditch Lewis and sign Chester Taylor to a really long contracts. The kid’s clearly the better of the two, and probably only half the cost.
