NFL Draft Round 1- Arizona Cardinals Select Matt Leinhart
With the 10th overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft the Arizona Cardinals have selected Matt Leinhart, QB, University of Southern California.
While I’m sure Matt Leinhart is wishing he’d been picked earlier, he’s fallen into a decent situation. He gets to learn from Kurt Warner before getting eased into the role of quarterback. He should help get the city excited, and that’s a good thing in the opening season of a 450 million dollar stadium. Great pick by the Cards, and they’re lucky he was still there.
The St. Louis Rams are on the clock.
