NFL Draft Round 1- Dallas Cowboys select Bobby Carpenter
With the 18th overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft the Dallas Cowboys have selected Bobby Carpenter, LB, Ohio University.
Just incredible. Defensive players flying off the board. The Cowboys seem pretty confident in their offense, and it wasn’t bad last year, so getting a defensive player actually makes sense. From what I’ve seen of him, I really like Bobby Carpenter and I think he’s going to be a great player. He’s got some great linebacker instincts and I think he’s really going to help the Dallas defense be more flexible and be able to run a lot more different schemes.
The San Diego Chargers are on the clock.
