NFL Draft Round 1- NY Selects Mathias Kiwanuka

by Jesse on April 29th, 2006

With the 32nd overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft the New York Giants have selected Mathias Kiwanuka, DE, Boston College.

This is one pick that really surprises me, especially after the year their line had in 2005. I think the Giants would have been far better off taking a linebacker or safety. A defensive end is something they really just don’t need. Not a good pick, in my opinion.

Well, that wraps up the first round, and I’m going to go take a break. I’ve never done this before (33 posts in six hours), and I need a rest.
