NFL Draft Round 1- NY Selects Nick Mangold
With the 29th overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft the NY Jets have selected Nick Mangold, C, Ohio State.
The Jets are really building up a solid offensive line for whoever their quarterback is going to be. First they take Ferguson, and now Mangold who some actually had going to Pittsburgh. They’re doing the smart thing and building up a young, skilled offensive line that’s going to get to work together for years, much like the Chiefs did a while back with Roaf and Shields and the others.
