Who is Mike Bell of the Denver Broncos?
Mike Bell, …oh, oh, oh, there is a Bell on the Broncos and he is trying to work his way up, but his name isn’t Mike, it is Tatum. Yeah, like the actress, Tatum O’Neal. Whose father is Ryan O’Neal and he starred in…oops, getting off topic there. Mike Bell, could that be Tatum’s real name?
No, Tatum went to Oklahoma State, Mike is a former wildcat.
So, he went to Northwestern? Why didn’t you say that? No wonder we don’t know the guy. He probably got good grades, but the Big Ten had Calhoun, Hart, Maroney, and…you know, lots of runners.
No, Mike Bell went to Arizona. He is an Arizona Wildcat or was. His last three years were all over 900 yards rushing. He has moved past Tatum Oneal..err Bell and into the number one spot on the roster.
Oh sure, that ‘cat, good ole Mike Bell.
Looks like Mike Shanahan is up to his old tricks again. Mike Bell is an undrafted rookie. In fact, He said he wanted to quit football after not being drafted for NFL Football and, yet, here he is moving ahead of both Tatum Bell and Ron Dayne.
It was reported on Channel 4 KVOA in Tucson that Mike Bell said
“I think ultimately its going to come down to my working on my pass protection and blocking and ultimately staying confident. You have to stay confident and hungry. You can’t ever get complacent, especially in the NFL, because the guy behind you and the guy behind him are just as good as you, ” says the running back. Source
Could be problems though, because Tatum thinks that the Broncos are never going to give him a chance.
NFL Football Fan Question Is Mike Bell good enough for the job or is it a case where the other runners just are not good enough, so why not start the rook and see what he can do?
