NFL Network to bring you 26 Combined hours
According to a recent article, the NFL Network plans to be all over this year’s Scouting Combine.
For five days in February the NFL Network is going to give you full coverage. And really, can you think of a better way to spend Saturday afternoon than watching 350 pound linemen jiggle their way through the forty yard dash? Or perhaps you more looking forward to seeing buff young dudes take off their shirts so that the scouts can measure everything from arm length to waist size. Either way, they’ve got something for you.
Here’s what Charles Coplin, the VP of the NFL Network had to say:
“We view the NFL Scouting Combine as one of the hidden gems still left in the NFL. This is an event NFL Network believes in and will look to grow to NFL Draft-like status.”
So now not only do you get to sit for twenty hours in front of the tube listening to Mel Kiper talking about Cornelius Washington, the kid from Talhequa State who could be a steal in the seventh round of the draft because of his 44 inch verticle and 4.24 speed during the NFL Draft, you also get to watch 24 hours of workouts.
What next?
