NFL Football Roundup of on-line stories

NFL Weekly.com reports on Ben Roethlisberger’s progress. It appears positive.

NFL.com has a report on the preseason for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Yahoo’s Fantasy Sports looks into taking a running back in the first round fantasy draft and then avoiding drafting a back for several rounds.

ESPN leads with a possible replacement for Paul Tagliabue, that being his assistant Roger Goodell. Typical of ESPN these days, the article is a teaser, you have to pay to get the rest.

CBS Sportsline leads with an article on the Philadelphia Eagles opening training camp, but when you read the article it is a great list of top 10 NFL questions going into the season.

Finally, Fox Sports leads with an article on Super Bowl XLI in Miami next Feb. 4, 2007. It discusses the random drawing for tickets and how to get involved. A must read if you are planning on going. It also has a cool live timer telling you how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds until the Super Bowl.

b4media note It is summer, so there is golf. At least that is how us northeners think. To get your golf news try out the Green Posse and Dale Chavez. He will drive you straight to the storyline and keep you up on the folks and strokes of golf.

Fan Question How much would you pay for a super bowl ticket if your team was involved? Lions fans need not reply. There is not that much money in the whole world.

I hope Big Ben gets well soon. It would be a shame if the Steelers defense of their title was hurt by his accident. As for how much I would pay for a Super Bowl ticket if my beloved Titans were in it. I’m gonna go with double the ticket price. After that, I’ll just watch it at home or at a bar for free.

Ron, who are you rooting for? You are giving up body parts for football. You are to be admired.
