NFL , USC Trojans, and Reggie Bush
The NFL gets players from almost all schools, but some colleges are better than others at producing pro football players. Reggie Bush is a former USC Trojan. Now there is a school that has figured it out.
Sideline report Reggie Bush is joining a logjam at New Orleans.
They already have number 26 Deuce McAllister, Aaron Stecker, and Michael Bennett. Couple that with the newly signed Drew Brees and you have a problem that other teams only dream of. So, the addition of a USC Trojan player has improved the New Orleans Saints. Maybe they will not be the Ain’ts anymore.
This got your humble, active minded author thinking. It seems like a lot of great NFL players keep coming out of that southern California school, doesn’t it? Hmmm…
Just off the top of my head, there is Keyshawn Johnson and Carson Palmer.

Oops, forgot Matt Leinhart
Wikpedia gives a big list of USC former players. Just looking at the list the casual old time fan can recognize several former or current NFL players. There is Marcus Allen (punishing runner), Pete Beathard, Tony Boselli, Monte Clark (former Lions Coach), Anthony Davis, Frank Gifford, Ronnie Lott, Johnny Morton (one time Lions receiver), Anthony Munoz, Rodney Pete (former Lions QB), Junior Seau, and Mike Williams (struggling Lions receiver)
Wow, what a school for producing pro football players. Hey, how come my Lions still stink with all these USC players going there?
Special Note Try out NBA Obsessed for all your current NBA happenings. Take it from the squibster, it is the place to go.
How can this be? Reggie Bush won the Doak Walker award. The award is named after Doak Walker, of course. Doak teamed up with Bobbie Layne to win 2 World Championships for the Lions. Hey, when did this happen?
Fan Question How well has your favorite college team been at producing NFL football players?
