Pacman Jones finds a way to get in the paper
NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Adam Pacman Jones will be back as a Dallas Cowboy

Why do sports do this to us? We don’t want Pacman Jones.
We don’t want players with little responsibility with money to just throw around.
We don’t want players that are so bored in the off season they have to just look for ways to get in trouble.
But so it is with some players. Too much time and too much money. They just don’t know what to do with themselves.
Suspended Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones paid $20,000 to a Las Vegas casino Friday to settle a criminal bad check case.
“We filed a criminal complaint. Within 24 hours, Mr. Jones found a way to make restitution,” said Clark County District Attorney David Roger. “Case closed.”
Jones paid $20,000 to cover three casino markers he received Sept. 3 at Caesars Palace, said Bernie Zadrowski, chief of the district attorney’s bad check unit. Jones also paid $1,675 in fees and penalties.
In Nevada, unpaid casino markers, or loans to gamblers, are treated as bad checks and are turned over to the district attorney for prosecution.
Doesn’t it bother you or your wife every time you forget to have enough in the bank to cover your 20K gambling losses? My wife just gets tired of it.
Unfortunately in big time sports this is a reality and talent always wins over character in spite of all the bull they constantly feed us fans. So Pacman will play in the NFL for the Cowboys, while we live decent lives going check to check.
Why? Nobody cheers you in your cubicle. Nobody looks up your stats.
