NFL Football Revealed on Squib Kick

Pro Bowl is a fake! But Tiki Scores!

by James on February 12th, 2007

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.

Pro Bowl - was it ever really played

Moon Landing FakedWell, they played it. No, not really, but they said they played it.

Played what?

The Pro Bowl. The NFL said they played the Pro Bowl. It was in Hawaii.

What do you mean they “said they played it”?

Did you watch it? Of course, not. The announced viewing audience on TV was 7.

What?

That’s right. And that is not all, it was faked! That’s right, faked!

Come on, what are you talking about?

Did you see it? Oh, wait a minute, we already established the fact that you did not see it. Well, let me tell you, as one of the 7 that did see it, it was a hoax.

It was not even well done. The 1968 moon landing, that we all know was faked, looked much more real than this Pro Bowl.

The ‘68 moon landing wasn’t a fake.

Man, you have got to get with it. Jim Morrison spotted in France, Elvis spotted in Kalamazoo Michigan, Alien spaceships, the Illuminati, the DaVinci Files, Big Foot … there is a lot a stuff going on that the media just kind of looks the other way.

Anyway the Pro Bowl was not even well done. There was this shadow laying over the field, what the heck was that?

You want more evidence? Roy Williams of the Detroit Lions was playing in the game! A Detroit Lion! Yeah, now you are believing me. Roy missed a touchdown pass from Tony Butterfinger Romo. In fairness to Roy, the pass was too high. Must have slipped out of Tony’s hand.

More evidence? Bill Belichick was not wearing a sweatshirt and was happy! Right, Bill was happy.

Need more? With the game on the line, Peyton was on the bench.

Peyton Manning side note Did you hear about the Chicago Bears fan that bet he would change his name to Peyton Manning if the Bears lost the Super Bowl? The Bears lost and he is in the process of going through the name change. Of course, you can still call him by his nickname ‘Wanker’.

Devin Hester had a punt return that was out of this world. He weaved around so much that Troy Polamalu missed tackling him two times in the same run and get this, LaDanian Tomlinson made the tackle! Would you allow your prize running back to be on the punt team? No way, fake, fake, fake. Devin even faked a limp walking off the field or the set or whatever it was.

More evidence? Tiki Barber, the retiree, threw an interception. Tiki’s a running back, isn’t he? He did score both a touchdown and a standing ovation.

Drew Brees dislocated his elbow in the game. Before all of you Saints fans start committing suicide it was his left elbow and it will be fine. Hollywood stunt man got hurt, though.

The most famous Pro Bowl injury didn’t even occur during the game. New England running back Robert Edwards’ career was ruined when he seriously injured his knee during a rookie flag-football game on the beach after his standout 1998 rookie season. Though Edwards attempted a comeback four years later, he ended up with the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes. source

Maybe they did play this game, Drew’s elbow did look a little swollen.

NFL Football Fan Question Were you one of the lucky seven to see this game?

As always, any NFL Football related comments are welcome.
