Proving once again that your intrepid author should never make predictions while chewing gum, the Washington Redskins defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 36 to 30 in overtime. If you are the fantasy football owner of Santana Moss, then you collected points for 3 touchdowns and 138 yards and get this, he did that on only 4 catches. Clinton Portis pitched in with 112 yards and 1 td. Brunell, in spite of the Squibster’s doubts was fabulous with 329 yards passing.
There is nothing better than a high scoring overtime affair in professional football.
The ‘Skins won in spite of Byron Leftwich’s 3 td passes. Somehow Brunell just tore the Jacksonville defense apart. (After the 3rd td to Moss, Mark was seen making an obscene gesture to the Squibster) With 3 out of the next 5 games for Washington against the division and one of the remaining games against Indianapolis, this was a must win for Washington. Guess it is time for your gallivanting author to respect a team that has its back against the wall.
