Santana Moss made the Detroit Lions fuzzy
NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Santana Moss proved to be too much for the Fuzzy Lions

Oh man, after umpteen years of sell outs, my sad sack Lions finally did not sell out and were blacked out.
Now my house is at the rim of the black out, but now a days, we are all at the mercy of cable or satellite and what they want to do. Just so happens my cable channel does not offer the correct channel to the west of me to get the game. So out came the rabbit ears and the Lions went fuzzy.
Maybe, just maybe, enough Lions fans will disconnect from the team to warrant new GM, coach, and even owner! We are already getting a new GM.
But a blackout becomes important because NFL play isn’t an obsession, it’s a habit. The league banks on fans needing that weekly fix.
This blackout is bad for the Lions because their fans could figure out that they can make it through a Sunday with no television contact with the team without the universe crashing around them.
This afternoon is basically Lions rehab. People will realize that if they can make it through one Lions-free Sunday without a cold sweat, they can make it through a second week, then a third, then a fourth.
Then you could have that emotional disconnect the Lions arrogantly think will never happen.
And that frightens even the mighty Fords.
At least my Lions stayed winless and still in the hunt for the number one pick and maybe a piece of history. No team has remained winless for the entire season.
Moss returned a punt 80 yards early in the fourth quarter, scoring what proved to be Washington’s game-winning touchdown in a 25-17 win over the Lions today.
