Steelers to open up the season against the Dolphins
How things change in a year and a half. Not too long ago Ben Roethlisberger played his first NFL start against the Dolphins.
It was officially the beginning of the end for the Steelers. They were decent with Maddox, but with a rookie from a small schoool with no NFL expirience they were going to suck.
Or not.
He has since gone 27-4, and the Steelers haven’t exactly looked back. Maddox was dropped like a hot potato at the end of this season after the horrible (and that doesn’t being to do it justice) showings he had in the games he played in while Roethlisberger was injured.
All this comes from an article released today detailing some of the highlite games in the schedule this year, including a whopping three games on Thanksgiving.

Kornheiser in the MNF booth! I’ve got serious doubts about this one. He’s a columnist and a grumpy old man - not a comentator.

I’m not crazy about him either, but if worst comes to worst I can always watch games muted….
