Super Bowl - wet Cheerleaders are better than wet footballs
NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Either this or a picture of a wet football
Bad weather was supposed to help the Bears, but it didn’t.
The Bears refused, however, to use it as an excuse.
“Wasn’t a factor. Didn’t bother me,” linebacker Brian Urlacher said.
“Both teams had to play in the weather,” said kick returner Devin Hester, who opened the scoring with a 92-yard runback for a TD. “They had the same footing we had.”
Then again, they weren’t the ones fumbling and throwing interceptions, either. source
Fans with 600 dollar seats walked away at halftime to seek shelter from the rain and 20 mph winds.
It was a strange sight for Miami.
NFL Football Commercial factoid There was not one Jessica Simpson commercial during the whole Super Bowl.
NFL Football Halftime note Was it me, or did the Prince show at halftime just not seem to fit. Don’t get me wrong, the Squibster likes a lot of Prince music, but the show seemed kind of lacking. Can’t quite put my finger on it.
NFL Football Fan Question Rex seemed really bothered by the rain. Do you think it had anything to do with the outcome?
As always, any NFL Football related comments are welcome.

Oh, no… please… Prince blew my face off!
Here he is playing “Purple Rain” in the pouring rain… nothing better. I did think the first number in the medley was a bit low key… but then he exploded. Look he covered Hendrix, the Foo Fighters, and Ike & Tina Turner, plus playing some of his biggest stuff. I think most folks liked it.
So… this is what you do in the off-season? You become a music critic!? I think that is a good switch, even if I disagree with your take.

Rock,
how can one not love All along the WatchTower?
Count me as a Prince fan, but it is a football game and this scrawny guy in a turquoise suit comes out with a high pitched voice and it just did not seem to fit.
My personal tastes go from hard rock, pop, rap, jazz, new age, country, classical, blues, soul, you name it.
Glad you disagree with me, though. ‘Cause maybe it was just the mood at the time.
