Tank gets tanked, so Bears tank Tank

Tank Johnson is on the outside looking in. After being pulled over for speeding and found to be slightly intoxicated, the Bears were found to be slightly upset.
The Chicago Bears have released Tank Johnson.
“We are upset and embarrassed by Tank’s actions last week,” general manager Jerry Angelo said in a statement. “He compromised the credibility of our organization. We made it clear to him that he had no room for error. Our goal was to help someone through a difficult period in his life, but the effort needs to come from both sides. It didn’t, and we have decided to move on.” source
Wow! As a devout Lions fan can your intrepid author actually cheer a move made by division rival Chicago? Yes! They did the right thing. With all the crap that Tank has been involved in, it was about time for the organization to stand up and say “enough!”
Now as a devout Lions fan it appears this makes the Chicago Bears a bit weaker, so maybe they will only beat my lions by 4 touchdowns instead of 5. :)
Yeah, the Bears are that deep on the defense that they can easily win the Black and Blue Division in the North without Tank Johnson and his distracting antics.
Chicago likes to put on the image of being a working class team in a working class town. The players bring their lunch buckets and go to work. Occasionally they go out for a snort or two and may get into a melee, but Tank Johnson went way beyond that.
Now let’s get back to some civilized knocking of heads.
