Tank Johnson and Willie B. Posey
If you get a name like Tank, you are not just another normal guy. When you have a name like Tank and you play for the Bears and like to carry guns around, you are definitely not a normal guy.
Tank proved he was different with his 3rd arrest in 18 months. This time a friend of his is dead. The friend was his bodyguard Willie B. Posey.
Just earlier this week, Tank was apologizing to the team for being arrested after his home was raided. They found several unregistered guns.
Moving around the NFL, former Dallas Cowboy Quincy Carter, was arrested for having some weed. The Police were called, because he got a little rowdy at some women’s house.
It does not stop there. Marcus Vick, younger brother of Michael Vick, is being sued for doing the wild thing with a minor. Since he was taken to court on the same type of charges while in college, this does not look so good.
Also this week, Pittsburgh Steeler linebacker Joey Porter was fined 10,000 dollars for statements made to Kellen Winslow of Cleveland.
Incensed by a late hit on one of his teammates in the fourth quarter by Winslow, Porter made a derogatory slur questioning the Cleveland tight end’s sexual orientation following the game.
“That’s what (blanks) do,” the often outspoken Porter said. “He’s soft. He wants to be tough, but he’s really soft.” source
Throw in Lamar Hunts death and all in all it was a pretty dismal week for the NFL.
The Squibster is glad they play some games tomorrow, because this kind of news we all can live without.
