Fantasy Football can be an absolute blast and still drive you crazy at the same time. You just never know who is really playing banged up or whether they will get enough reps to do any damage.
You have to put personal feelings aside, because the bad boys like Terrell Owens can be great Fantasy Football players. Some of the good guys like Tom Brady can be less than stellar. You see a selfish player can be great in the Fantasy world. A team player can be bad. It’s all about stats!
My own Fantasy Team is 7 - 0. That is right, undefeated. It is an 8 team league and your intrepid author is a deal making machine, waiving players and picking up new ones constantly.
But let’s stop the bragging right now. It is a long season and my toughest lessons are yet to be learned. In fact, looking at some of the matchups for the end of the year and your deal making author is in big trouble.
And guess what, it took a while, but just about any player that is worth anything has been gobbled up. It took about 6 weeks into the season to sort out who was who, but they are all gone. It has kind of taken the fun out of the season, it was more fun picking up players and dropping them than actually playing out the games.
Now my biggest decisions are who to play and who to bench. Usually it is not much of a decision, and in most cases there is no way to know what to do anyway.
