Time-Warner is suing DirectTV.
The lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Manhattan says DirecTV lied about the accessibility of professional football broadcasts in an attempt to pry away customers from Time Warner Cable. source

It is time to stick up for the Constitution and bring back all our Football!

Hilarious. I love the satire.
Yes, more football and beautiful starlets, just what the framers had in mind for the “pursuit of happiness” part of our political heritage.
As you know, I’ve written extensively about this over at my spot. Let me just paraphrase: this is what you get when a monopoly collides with a cartel.
Universal accessibility does seem like an inalienable right though.

There is genius in nothingness… to paraphrase the Buddha.
But there is no genius in me… although sometimes there’s a whole ‘lotta nothingness. At least you had the genius to stop picking football games… Look at my picks and you’ll see a whole ‘lotta nothin’. (Well, I suppose better than what Kitna delivers… but soon you will be rid of the Millen curse and those other problems will pass too.)
