TRADE! NFL Draft Round 1- Buffalo selects John McCargo
With the 26th overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft the Buffalo Bills have selected John McCargo, DT, North Carolina State.
I’m kind of surprised at this trade. The Bills gave up a couple mid round picks to move up, but I never really considered McCargo to be the kind of trade bait he’s ended up being. He’s a decent player, and he’ll probably end up playing a lot his first year with all the help Buffalo needs on defense.
Carolina is on the clock.
